The institutions of the Association of Public Libraries of Berlin open their collections and make them available free of charge to refugees from Ukraine and other war and crisis regions.
There are also new offers for this. 2,000 Ukrainian books are on their way to Berlin and will be available for loan, as the association announced on Tuesday. The books are for children and young people, but also for adults in the Ukrainian language. The purchase will also support publishing houses in Ukraine. An information flyer in Ukrainian is available in the libraries.
