"Ukraine Freedom House" planned for defense cooperation

Berlin is set to become a central location for German-Ukrainian cooperation in the defense industry.

As part of increased defense cooperation, a "Ukraine Freedom House" will be opened in the city as a liaison office for the Ukrainian defense industry, according to the Berlin Senate Chancellery. The aim is to accelerate networking between defense companies in both countries and to launch specific joint projects.

Networking of defense companies

Berlin's State Secretary for Federal and European Affairs, Florian Hauer, spoke of an important signal. "The planned cooperation in the defense industry is a real win-win solution. It helps Ukraine and at the same time promotes Germany's innovative capacity in this area." Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian war of aggression for almost four years.
