Museum für Fotografie

On a total of 2,000 square meters, the Museum für Fotografie (Museum of Photography) presents photography enthusiasts with holdings from the photography collection of the Art Library and the Helmut Newton Foundation.

Kunstbibliothek and Helmut Newton Foundation

With the opening of the glamorously renovated Kaisersaal in 2010, two protagonists will be presenting large exhibitions on a total of 2,000 square metres in the Museum of Photography: the Photography Collection of the Kunstbibliothek in the Kaisersaal on the second floor, and the Helmut Newton Foundation on the two lower floors with the presentation "Helmut Newton's Private Property", which has been successful for years, and the exhibitions on Helmut Newton's work and his companions.

Permanent exhibition "Helmut Newton's Private Property"

Since 2004, the Helmut Newton Foundation has been displaying exhibits from the photographer's life on the first floor of the building. Among other things, visitors can admire the Newton mobile, the library, the cameras and Helmut Newton's private art and photo collection. Regularly changing exhibitions round off the museum's offerings.
