The Monsterkabinett in Mitte takes you into an underground world of mechanical creatures that come to life in a staged show.

The Monsterkabinett (English: Monster Cabinet) is a unique art installation in the Schwarzenberg House near Hackesche Höfe and displays bizarre automaton creatures. The cabinet describes itself as a "run-down amusement park that has taken on a life of its own." The figures on display were designed by the artist group Dead Chickens and dance to music, sing or tell stories.
