Eduardo Paolozzi. Lots of Pictures - Lots of Fun

Eduardo Paolozzi is regarded as co-founder of British Pop Art. The exhibition at the Berlinische Galerie focuses on the experimental periods of the artist's work.

The sculptor and graphic artist Eduardo Paolozzi is considered one of the most innovative artists of the 20th century. In the 1940s, he wrote international art history with a series of collages in which he used motifs from popular culture and advertising, thus anticipating crucial Pop Art ideas.

First monographic Paolozzi exhibition in Germany

Paolozzi's sculptures and graphics move at the interface between man and machine. Starting from a particular interest in science and technology, they represent his search for a new language of form and iconography in mass and industrial society. With innovative artistic techniques such as silk-screen printing or sampling in the fields of graphics and sculpture he challenged the aesthetic conventions of his time.
