In the medieval center of Alt-Marzahn, it gets Christmassy in the beginning of December when the small Christmas market on the historical village green opens its doors.

Not far from theMarzahn Windmill and the old village church, the Advent market in Marzahn exudes a cozy Christmas flair. On the first Sunday of Advent, concerts or performances take place in the surrounding buildings, while the smell of roasted almonds and mulled wine spreads from the stalls on the village green.
