Berlin Mobile Studio Popcore is acquired by TakeTwo

According to gameswirtschaft.de, Berlin mobile game studio Popcore was acquired by Rollic, the Turkish subsidary of Zynga.

Zynga is owned by publisher Take Two that also owns Rockstar Games and 2K.

The purchase price was not mentioned. The brothers Thomas and Johannes Heinze founded the studio in 2018 that grew to 150 employees in the last years. The studio is known for Free2Play mobile games like Parking Jam 3D and Pull the Pin that reached more than half a billion downloads.
