All Funding Decisions of Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg in 2021

Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg is the main institution for the film and audio-visual media industry in the German capital region.

The New Media department funds media-related projects, serial formats as well as the development of content in the categories games, web, mobile and VR. Since 2008, more than 200 games were funded with around 12 million Euro. This year, the New Media Department granted support for 35 projects with a monetary volume of 3,004,000.00 €.

Apart from mobile, console and PC games, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg funded VR simulations, “walk-in” movies, digital board games and mixed reality experiences. Genres range from Action(-Adventure) and Survival to Farming Simulation and Party games. Below, all funded games of 2021 are listed without the VR projects.
