Venice Immersive is celebrating its 10th edition as part of the Venice International Film Festival. From August 28 to September 3, 2025, the festival’s immersive media section — ranging from AR and VR to installations and live performances — will take place on Lazzaretto Vecchio Island (Venice Immersive Island). The annual XR competition features up to 30 immersive projects presented as world or international premieres.

• 4:30 PM – The Spatial Shift: Mixed Reality and Its Redefined Canvas – Panel discussion by German Films in collaboration with FFF, FMS, MOIN, MDM, and MBB
• 5:30 PM – Meet the German Creators – Panel and cocktail event hosted by MBB

The films in this year’s Venice line-up will be announced on July 22. Fingers crossed for the MBB-supported productions!
