GeoGuessr World Championship in Berlin

For anyone who has ever spent far too long identifying a country from road markings, bollards or the shape of a utility pole, this is the big one. GeoGuessr drops players into locations around the world using Street View imagery and challenges them to work out exactly where they are — a simple concept that has developed into a highly competitive international esports scene.

The World Championship will take over the Tempodrom and its surroundings for four days. On 2 and 3 September, the group-stage matches will be played in the fan zone, allowing visitors to follow the competition on large screens and get close to the players. On 4 and 5 September, the tournament moves inside the arena for the playoffs and ultimately the Grand Final.
