The Blohmgarten is a meeting place for young and old and people from different cultural backgrounds.
Dedicated gardening enthusiasts have created an oasis in the Blohmgarten, where they share their experience and skills in the organic cultivation of fruit, vegetables and flowers. Children and adults learn together how vegetables grow and enjoy the harvest. Helpers and visitors are very welcome. Regular community meetings invite people to join in and exchange ideas.
In the Blohmgarten, community gardeners can lease a bed of approximately 20 square meters or a raised bed of 2 square meters for their own use. The price is calculated per month. Gardening tools are available on site. The Blohmgarten is located in Blohmstraße in Berlin-Lichtenrade in the far south of Berlin, right on the city limits. It is managed by the Nachbarschafts- und Selbsthilfezentrum in der UFA-Fabrik e. V. (NUSZ).
