Prachttomate

Tomatoes

A man harvests tomatoes.

In addition to magnificent organic tomatoes, various vegetables, herbs, berries and flowers are grown in the Prachttomate community garden.

The Prachttomate community garden not only produces local food in all kinds of mobile containers such as tubs, transport crates, bathtubs, buckets and shopping carts. There is also a lively intercultural exchange. Biodiversity is cultivated and learning areas for DIY and personal initiative are created.

Gardening together in the Prachttomate community garden

There is a lot to discover in the garden, e.g. old varieties of fruit and vegetables, beehives, organic cultivation methods, creative preparation of seasonal produce and much more. There are no individual beds in the Prachttomate community garden. Everything is planned, grown and harvested together.
