The Bergterrasse Marienhöhe beer garden in Berlin's Tempelhof-Schöneberg district is one of the oldest beer gardens in Berlin.
As early as the 1950s, the Hilbert family opened a bar on their property. Hundreds of guests would come on weekends and during Pentecost. Even today, the rustic beer garden with its retro charm remains a popular destination. Guests particularly appreciate the wildly romantic garden, the warm, family-friendly atmosphere, and the selection of food and drinks. The menu features home-style cooking, canned sardines in oil and homemade cakes. A hidden gem is the chocolate sundae with eggnog and extra-heavy cream. Draught beers, such as Engelhardt or Charlottenburger Pils, wine spritzers and non-alcoholic beverages like Fassbrause are perfect for quenching your thirst.
