Exciting stories and a 360-degree view of Berlin: the Reichstag Tour takes you to the roof terrace of the Reichstag building and provides interesting and explosive information.
The Reichstag building in Berlin has once again been the seat of the Bundestag since 1999. Since then, more than one million people have visited the visitor platform every year. During the one-hour guided tour "Reichstag Tour: Lobbyists, Spies and Potato Soup", visitors experience the building and its history up close. The guided tour of the Reichstag building begins with a short introduction at the meeting point, the Berlin Pavilion. All participants then pass through the security barrier and visit the seat of parliament.
Together with your guide, you will go up to the world-famous glass dome and terrace. While the view sweeps over the government district, the guide tells background stories about the surrounding buildings such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Charité hospital and the Chancellery. In addition to the hard facts, the question of what the Bundestag's motto "To the German people" is all about is also answered. Your own questions are also welcome. During the tour, the entertainment factor is not neglected: in addition to small quiz questions, controversial details are also discussed. Which politicians enjoy the highest level of security during state visits? Where can you find Russian inscriptions on the walls and what do they mean? Where does the Federal Chancellor live and are there drugs in the Bundestag? Whether it's a revolution at lunch or spies in the parliament corridor - the Reichstag is full of surprising stories.
After the end of the tour, anyone interested can take part in a free in-house audio guide tour. You can visit the dome and terrace for as long as you wish.
