The Girl and the Darkness

A girl is afraid of the dark. This is a big problem: the dark is everywhere – in the basement, in the dark woods, in tunnels and in the night. One day, the girl summons up her courage and decides not to run away from the darkness, but instead to welcome it. Suddenly someone that she can meet and get to know comes into being from the dark, shapeless shadows. Using a pop-up stage, puppets, shadow play and immersive sound, Theater MoDak tells a story about fear, curiosity and the courage to face the unknown.
