The world of "Roter Engel" is almost exactly like our own. People might be a bit more scatterbrained and sometimes surprisingly articulate... but by and large, it is the same.

They go about their lives, accepting things along the way that—upon closer inspection—might prompt some questions. Why is every one of these people missing a body part? And what is that image over there pieced together from? Say, did that image just speak? And what is the deal with the angels who rule our world?

But there often isn't time for that second look. You’ve already moved on... and missed the 13th, 15th, 16th, or 17th of October.
