A neighbor reported her to the Gestapo. Now she is being held indefinitely at the “Uckermark Youth Protection Camp,” a concentration camp specifically for girls and young women.

Her daily life consists of a ban on speaking, forced labor, and harsh punishments. She has no contact with her family. Yet Helene retains a spark of humanity and begins writing letters to her best friend, Elli.

Will these letters ever reach Elli?

Following the premiere, there will be a post-performance discussion with Olivier Gaida (research associate at the Foundation Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe).
