“Che bella scena! Che bella burla!” – The joy of playful performance and of watching such performances runs through human cultural history, all the way to Haydn’s era and on to the present day. We celebrate this with young singers who will perform arias, duets, and ensembles from Haydn’s operas in this concert. Accompanied by members of the Konzerthausorchester, these miniatures will not only be performed together in this concert—in the spirit of playfulness and spontaneity, they will also pop up at various locations throughout the Konzerthaus on Haydn Day!
