Cast off and full steam ahead! With AHOI – The Acrobatic Swing Show, Wintergarten Varieté Berlin presents show that takes audiences on an incomparable journey across the world’s oceans. At its heart is young entertainer David Hermlin, who, together with his sister Rachel, his father Andrej, and a fiery 12-piece big band, brings the unmistakable sound of swing back to the stage.

As if aboard a glamorous 1930s luxury liner, rousing big-band music, maritime elegance and spectacular acrobatics merge into a complete theatrical experience filled with seafaring romance and a spirit of adventure. From New York to Havana, from Paris to Shanghai – each stop on this musical and artistic voyage opens up new worlds full of surprises.

Naturally, the acrobatics – true to the Wintergarten’s tradition – are of the highest standards: only the best international artists in their disciplines perform here, whether at dizzying heights, with unbridled physical strength, or moving with graceful lightness. Combined with swing, humor, and a dash of sailor’s yarn, this creates an evening that invigorates heart, mind, and senses alike.

And where could such a journey begin, if not at the most renowned and most beautiful variety theatre in Europe? For decades, the Wintergarten Varieté Berlin has stood for entertainment in a class of its own – for awe, dreams, laughter, and those truly great moments on stage.

An evening full of music, elegance and breathtaking artistry – an adventure sounding like freedom, tasting like the sea, and which dances to the rhythm of pure swing.
