With “Alizé,” Cirque du Soleil presents its first permanent European show, bringing together two worlds that previously existed separately: world-class acrobatics and magic.

The artists appear to defy gravity as bodies float, vanish, and seemingly rematerialize out of nowhere. The stage becomes a portal into a poetic dream world where reality and imagination blend, creating an immersive atmosphere that reaches far into the audience, sparking wonder and moments of pure awe.

Alizé is Cirque du Soleil’s 54th original production and its first residency in Europe, where the company first set up its tents in Germany 30 years ago. Since a new era began in 1995 with *Saltimbanco*, 16 productions have performed in the Grand Chapiteau or arenas in 16 German cities. Berlin is considered the ideal location for Cirque du Soleil’s first permanent show in a European metropolis due to its cosmopolitan spirit and international appeal. Cirque du Soleil also aims to express its special connection to Berlin through this show.

Captivating acrobatic performances and magical visualizations blur the boundaries between reality and imagination. Alizé in Berlin celebrates the magic of humanity by immersing audiences in a cosmos full of fantasy and wonder.
