Following her acclaimed debut at the 37th Berlin Jewish Culture Days, Marina Maximilian returns to the Rykestraße Synagogue to present a new program—curated exclusively for the festival—at the opening on November 12.

The singer, pianist, composer, and actress was born in 1987 in Dnipro (Ukraine) and moved to Israel as a child. She reached a wide audience through her participation in the talent show “Kokhav Nolad” (2007). Since then, she has developed a distinctive artistic style: with her striking, versatile voice, she blends pop, soul, jazz, and electronic sounds into a sound that is as personal as it is contemporary.

At the same time, Marina Maximilian has enjoyed a successful career as an actress in film, television, and theater. On stage, she captivates audiences with her commanding presence and the rare ability to blend intimacy with expressiveness. Her concerts are as emotional as they are energetic—marked by musical virtuosity and narrative depth.
