Alphaville | Classic Open Air Berlin
The grand finale of the six-day cultural festival on July 14 will feature the legendary band Alphaville, who will perform their greatest hits in an impressive symphonic arrangement.

With classics like “Forever Young,” “Big in Japan,” and “Sounds Like a Melody,” the band has shaped generations of music fans since the 1980s and made international pop history.
For this special evening, Alphaville combines its iconic synth-pop sound with the orchestral power of the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt. The specially developed symphonic program allows the familiar songs to shine in a new, opulent guise: powerful string passages, majestic wind arrangements, and finely nuanced dynamics lend the timeless melodies additional depth and emotional radiance.
On the stage of the Classic Open Air, an extraordinary interplay of electronic pop aesthetics and classical orchestral tradition takes shape. The combination of nostalgic 80s energy and symphonic grandeur creates a concert experience that musically unites the past and the present.
The audience can look forward to an atmospheric summer evening where grand anthems, orchestral richness, and the unmistakable voice of Marian Gold merge into an emotional finale. A festive conclusion that brings the festival to a close with spine-tingling moments and musical passion.
