Piano Trios by Shostakovich, Enescu, Tchaikovsky, and Dediu

Three award-winning young musicians take to the Pierre Boulez Saal stage as a piano trio: violinist Tobias Feldmann, cellist Andrei Ioniță, and pianist and Barenboim-Said Akademie alumna Nathalia Milstein present a program of Russian and Romanian works from the 19th to the 21st centuries. Music by Tchaikovsky and Enescu will be heard alongside the First Piano Trio by 17-year-old Dmitri Shostakovich and Romanian composer Dan Dediu’s Pierrot pirate, written in 2025.
