Quiet Hour

Experience the Futurium at your own pace

Less light. Less noise. Less hustle and bustle. For two hours, things will be noticeably quieter at Futurium—for anyone who wants a low-stimulus environment to help them focus on what really matters.

We invite you to the “Quiet Hour”—a particularly peaceful time to visit the exhibition and the Lab. During this time, we dim bright lights, turn off loud or continuous sound effects (such as certain installations), and refrain from offering guided tours or making announcements. The number of visitors is also limited to ensure there is more space and to create a relaxed atmosphere.

The Quiet Hour is primarily intended for people who are sensitive to sensory stimuli—such as those on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities. Elderly people, people with chronic illnesses, or those experiencing Long COVID are equally welcome—as are, of course, anyone who wishes to enjoy a quiet museum visit without the hustle and bustle.

We look forward to spending a relaxing time together.
