Olympia Bukkakis: Queer and Present Dangers/The Nation at Work

You there! Get to work! The nation needs you! Our dear Kanzler is just the latest in a long line of clowns desperate for us to work harder, longer, (deeper?) for the good of the Fatherland, and if we keep putting our fingers in each other and changing our pronouns every 5 minutes we’re not going to labor our way into the (checks notes) employer’s paradise of the Bundesrepublik Deutschland! But what’s in it for us? What is this national community that we’re supposed to care about? What role does work play in deciding who’s in and who’s out? Queer and Present Dangers is an experimental talk show series by Olympia Bukkakis that questions imagined communities, works hard and clocks out as soon as possible. For this edition the topic is The Nation at Work and we'll be joined by Elvan Tekin and Hassandra amongst others, who will help Olympia throw the show together.
