Olympia Bukkakis: Queer and Present Dangers/Family

The family is under attack! In a late capitalist hellscape of deranged DILFS, mad MILFS, sick sisters, warm brothers and enby siblings BEGGING you to get their pronouns right, we’re losing touch with traditional values! 

According to the right, the family (and its “natural” hierarchies) have been under siege for decades now (which is weird because dad still can’t apologize.) Is the family in crisis? Is the family itself a crisis? They say that blood is thicker than water so let’s coagulate around these sticky questions together. 

Queer and Present Dangers is an experimental talk show series by Olympia Bukkakis that examines the ties that bind us, the places we call home, and ways in which we can love each other. For this edition the topic is FAMILY and we’ll be joined by Ivy Monteiro, Edna Bonhomme and Maika Knoblich who will help Aunty Olympia throw the show together over four days.
