Dance course for adults and seniors

Fancy some movement, physically active and looking for mental challenges? The Education Programme is offering a weekly course for people aged 60 and over, in which Kathlyn Pope, an experienced dance teacher at the Staatsballett Berlin, explores current Staatsballett Berlin productions with participants over a period of nine weeks. The programme not only promotes mental and physical flexibility, but also encourages participants to enjoy creating their own small choreographies strengthened. A nice side effect: the participants find like-minded people in the course and possibly company for a future visit to the ballet. Because one thing is clear: it's never too late to start dancing! Over a period of nine weeks, various productions of the Staatsballett Berlin are examined and explored through dance. Attending performances of the productions is recommended, but is not a prerequisite for participation. The course costs 120 euros for nine weeks. You will find the exact time periods and thematic blocks below.
