Dance course for adults and seniors

Fancy some movement, physically active and looking for mental challenges? The Education Programme is offering a weekly course for people aged 60 and over, in which Kathlyn Pope, an experienced dance teacher at the Staatsballett Berlin, explores current Staatsballett Berlin productions with participants over a period of nine weeks. The programme not only promotes mental and physical flexibility, but also encourages participants to enjoy creating their own small choreographies strengthened. A nice side effect: the participants find like-minded people in the course and possibly company for a future visit to the ballet. Because one thing is clear: it's never too late to start dancing! Over a period of nine weeks, various productions of the Staatsballett Berlin are examined and explored through dance. Attending performances of the productions is recommended, but is not a prerequisite for participation. The course costs 120 euros for nine weeks. You will find the exact time periods and thematic blocks below. The course always takes place on Mondays or Wednesdays from 2.00 to 3.00 pm: Course 1 from 8.9.– 10.11.25 (mondays) about Gods & Dogs Course 2 from 10.9.– 12.11.25 (wednesdays) about Gods & Dogs → Registration as of 1.7.25, 12 pm Course 3 from 17.11.25– 26.1.26 (mondays) about Swan Lake Course 4 from 19.11.– 28.1.26 (wednesdays) about Swan Lake → Registration as of 1.10.25, 12 pm Course 5 from 2.2.– 30.3.26 (mondays) about Nurejew Course 6 from 4.2.– 1.4.26 (wednesdays) about Nurejew → Registration as of 1.12.25, 12 pm Course 7 from 13.4.– 7.7.26 (mondays) with participation in Tanz ist KLASSE!
