I wonder what’s under the tree at this year’s Futurium Christmas quiz? Probably everything—except exactly what you’d expect. No matter how well-behaved you’ve been all year long, our quizmasters Tom and Darren won’t be taking your wish lists or Christmas traditions into account. From a holiday party in front of the TV to spending the holidays on Mars to a winter ascent of Nanga Parbat—anything can happen again this time around. There’s no shortage of outlandish topics, awkward transitions, and surprising questions this time either.



However, you won’t be given anything on a silver platter—neither by the quiz hosts nor by the festive groups at the neighboring tables. On the contrary, you’ll have to earn your prizes the hard way here with halfway-correct answers to halfway-coherent questions. What can help you is a solid foundation of general knowledge, a good gut feeling when guessing at random, and, of course, the collective wisdom of your team. Because at least that much is true for the Christmas quiz at Futurium—just as it is for any Christmas celebration. The most important thing is the wonderful people you celebrate with. So find a few nice teammates and head straight over to the quiz at Futurium.
