Acclaimed Irish songwriter Lisa O’Neill will make her debut German headline appearance at Theater im Delphi, bringing her powerful, poetic live show to Berlin for one special night.
Renowned for her distinctive voice, fearless songwriting and spellbinding stage presence, O’Neill has become one of the most vital and respected figures in contemporary folk music. Her songs weave together history, politics, compassion and myth, delivered with a rare emotional honesty that has earned her widespread critical acclaim.
Lisa’s work has been praised internationally, with BBC 6 Music, The Guardian, Mojo, Uncut, NPR, The Irish Times and The New York Times among those hailing her as a modern great.
Two of O’Neill’s songs featured in the acclaimed television series Peaky Blinders - “Blackbird”, her own composition, and an adaptation of Bob Dylan’s “All the Tired Horses”, which soundtracked the final scene of the epic drama.
