LEONKORO QUARTET

String Quartets by Schubert, Shostakovich, and Zinovjev

Founded in 2019, the Leonkoro Quartet has been a regular guest at the Pierre Boulez Saal since the 2023–24 season, and with its own concert series at the Vienna Konzerthaus, the award-winning ensemble has already joined the A-list of quartets. The four musicians’ most recent program includes famous works by Schubert and Shostakovich alongside the first string quartet by young Finnish composer Sauli Zinovjev, which was written for the group.
