We live in a society that is obsessed with the compulsion to perform and the cult of instant success. But what remains of us when the applause dies out? Does true strength have to be loud? La Grinta – this is an Italian word for a combative spirit, an edge, resoluteness and can mean both the merciless pursuit of success as well as silent courage, persevering and continuing on when the lights go out and no one is watching. The production „La Grinta“ is a relentlessly contemporary fresco that dives deeply into the question of resilience. Using a visual language that merges the real with the surreal, it confronts us with the contradictions of our era.
