Bach: Works for Solo Harpsichord

Whether on the fortepiano, harpsichord, or modern grand piano, Kristian Bezuidenhout is among today’s most versatile keyboard virtuosos and has long been a regular guest at the Pierre Boulez Saal. Following his exploration of Johann Sebastian Bach’s harpsichord concertos last season, he now performs some of the Baroque master’s solo works on this delicate instrument. The program includes the celebrated Italian Concerto and English Suite No. 3 as well as lesser-known compositions, all of which are ideally served by the hall’s intimate acoustics.
