Hyperobjekt

The trio led by harpist and SWR Jazz Prize winner Kathrin Pechlof is presenting its highly acclaimed new album, *HYPEROBJEKT*, in Berlin for the first time. Since 2011, the ensemble has been developing a distinctive, intricately ramified, chamber-music-inspired musical language – shaped by influences from Impressionism and classical modernism, contrapuntal techniques, improvised music and contemporary jazz. The boundaries between composition and improvisation become permeable; every note becomes an impulse, every sound unfolds into vast resonances. This creates a living soundscape that breathes, oscillating between silence and intensity, intimacy and vastness. – “heart-rendingly beautiful” (O. Clausnitzer, DLF)
