Guided tour with object descriptions for blind, visually impaired and sighted people "Objects. History. Stories. A look into the collection"

The guided tours with detailed descriptions of the exhibits and rooms present the architecture, design and color scheme as well as the concept and narrative of the exhibition. The museum's growing collection is presented using selected exhibits from its beginnings to the present day. Tactile objects integrated into the walkway, such as a dog's bell based on the historical model of a helmet from the collection of Prince Carl of Prussia, an ostrich egg with a relief, a plug-in card and other multi-sensory stations help visitors to grasp the exhibition content with several senses. A tactile floor plan and a tactile floor guidance system guide visitors through the rooms and enable them to take part in the tour independently.
The tour can also be booked by groups and school classes.Translated with DeepL
