Saison 26-27

Saison 26-27

With its successful Forum discussion series, Staatsballett Berlin is creating a space for exchange with other disciplines while exploring the questions: How is energy created? What sets us in motion? When we experience ballet, we see the dynamics of a leap, the precision of a turn and the interplay of an ensemble. Energy is the fundamental physical force behind movement. Beneath the apparent effortlessness on stage lies a highly complex system of strength, efficiency and choreographic logic. Under the title Dance, Technology, Future, the new Forum series takes place at the House of New Energy. This conversation focuses on artistic practice at the intersection of the body and technology. Please note: This edition of Forum is free of charge and will take place for the first time at the House of New Energy, Friedrichstraße 110, rather than at Deutsche Oper Berlin as previously. Advance registration is requested at: The event will be held in German. Any English-language contributions will be summarised in German.
