Exhibition: 'Pale Blue'

UdK students’ Zine Presentation in response to Asad Raza – 2075

As part of a collaboration between the Berlin University of the Arts and KW, a group of students explored concrete practices of ecological transformation through methods, narratives, and artistic practices that engage with them.

Initially students worked with Asad Raza in a workshop on 2075 – the artist’s public art commission that transformed KW’s backyard into a scented garden of plants expected to withstand the effects of climate change. They then visited forest ranger Hannah Riedel in the Saubucht forestry district of the Grunewald, accompanying her and her colleagues in their daily work.

The resulting zine, Pale Blue, brings together the students' work from both encounters, complemented by two interviews – with Asad Raza and Hannah Riedel.

This project is part of a workshop seminar organized by the Universität der Künste Wood Workshop and the Department of Examinations and Exhibition Organisation, Faculty of Fine Arts.
