ELIAS ABOUD, MARTIN BARTH & DOMINIC OELZE

Music for Percussion

Percussionists tend to have their hands full—even figuratively speaking. In addition to the classic percussion instruments, they also have to master a range of other sound-producing items, from glockenspiel to pot lids and other everyday objects. In this exciting program, Dominic Oelze and Martin Barth, co-principal percussionists of the Staatskapelle Berlin, are joined by Elias Aboud, who studied with Oelze at the Barenboim-Said Akademie, to present recent works for percussion of many different varieties.
