Works for Violin and Piano by Brahms, Schulhoff, Castiglioni, and Enescu

Since her 2017 debut in the Pierre Boulez Saal’s opening season, Carolin Widmann has thrilled audiences with music of all eras, from Hildegard von Bingen to Salvatore Sciarrino and George Benjamin. They include compositions by George Enescu and Niccolò Castiglioni, which are inspired by popular musical traditions, and Erwin Schulhoff, whose solo sonata reflects the adventurous and creative spirit of the 1920s.
