AKADEMIE FÜR ALTE MUSIK BERLIN, SOPHIE RENNERT & STUDENTS OF THE BARENBOIM-SAID AKADEMIE

Vocal and Instrumental Works by Vivaldi, Handel, and others

Continuing the collaboration between the two institutions, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin once again joins forces with students of the Barenboim-Said Akademie to present a concert at the Pierre Boulez Saal. The soloist is Baroque specialist Sophie Rennert, who will be heard in Vivaldi’s motet In furore iustissimae irae and a suite from Handel’s Agrippina, among other works. Guided by their experienced colleagues, the young musicians will also perform less familiar compositions by Johann Georg Pisendel and Johann Bernhard Bach, an older cousin of Johann Sebastian.
