‘An Apartment to Let’ (Dira l’haskir) is a famous classic children’s book by the Israeli author Lea Goldberg. In it, four animals living in a block of flats look for new neighbours and, in the process, learn about tolerance and acceptance. This wonderful story is complemented by further texts by Erich Kästner and interwoven with piano music for children by Robert Schumann, Arvo Pärt, Thomas Larcher, Helmut Lachenmann, Bloch and others.
