Wedding Slam Royale used to go by the name "Fusion Slam"—but don't worry, it’s the same old crew, just with a shinier name. Every edition is different: as Berlin’s only regular "Slam Deluxe" show, the Kiezpoeten combine poetry slam with other art forms each month—crime fiction, jazz, acting, painting, improv, comedy... Every show is absolutely unique.

Where does Wedding Slam Royale take place? Its home base is the Ballhaus Wedding—a stunningly stylish hall for around 150 guests, located near Osloer Straße. The Ballhaus Wedding hosts this extraordinary show in a setting that couldn't be more fitting: a mix of chandeliers and peeling plaster, a gold-adorned entrance, and—well—the authentic vibe of Wedding itself.
