---SheLeadsNature is the new Berlin forum for career-minded women taking on leadership roles in nature conservation. With keynote addresses, panel discussions and open debates, the series provides a space for exchange, networking and ideas on how women can take a more visible lead and assume leadership roles more effectively.

Prof. Dr h.c. Jutta Allmendinger is one of Germany’s best-known social scientists. As a sociologist and education researcher, she has been working for many years on equal opportunities, gender equality and changes in the world of work. From 2007 to 2024, she was President of the Berlin Social Science Centre (WZB). Through her research, her publications and her public engagement, she shapes the socio-political debate in Germany and advocates for greater participation, better educational opportunities and a society based on equality.

The series of events is a joint initiative of the Deutscher Naturschutzring (DNR) and the Heinz Sielmann Foundation.
