Children love comics! And this special day will be celebrated with a programme of readings featuring some high-profile guests.

 

MODERN GRAPHICS and REPRODUKT are once again presenting funny comic readings, exciting workshops, live music and much more this year on Kastanienallee and in the courtyard of the neighbouring DOCK 11 / DOCK ART!

EXHIBITION

 

Kiez Blick Berlin – Us and the City

The exhibition showcases comics by children who present a very personal and surprising perspective on the city of Berlin. In works created during workshops with Nadia Budde, children freely and spontaneously expressed their own feelings about their neighbourhood. They were supported in this by students from Humboldt University.

 

 

MUSIC

 

Concert with Dominik Merscheid

Life-affirming, funny and yet profound children’s songs – whether they’re about yawning boredom, a promising message in a bottle or life’s big questions. A groovy concert experience to sing along to, bop along to and join in with – for everyone who loves handmade, acoustic music with clever lyrics.

 

 

COMIC WORKSHOP & MORE AT STUDIO BITTERFELD

 

with Marion Goedelt, Lisa Rock and guest Marita Kelbl from Prague

Open comic workshop for young and old, featuring an exhibition, a bookstall and delicious vegan waffles.

 

 

ALL-DAY ACTIVITIES

 

Drawing machine by Pure Fruit: write your desired motif on a postcard, pop it into the machine and wait until your wish comes out as a drawing. The machine is operated by Gregor Hinz and friends.
