Are we hopelessly lost and sliding inexorably towards a poly-dystopia? How should we even deal with current developments, where can we still draw strength from, and what are the truly promising solutions? 42 years after the founding of the FIfF, it is more urgent than ever to keep a cool head, remain level-headed and discuss together ways out of the crises and how to deal with them – whilst also stepping outside our comfort zones.
FIfFKon creates a three-day, inspiring forum for exchange at the intersection of computer science and all other disciplines, featuring talks, collaborative learning, discussions and networking on the theme of Resilience in the Polycrisis.
All lectures will be held in German.
FIfFKon is organised by the Forum InformatikerInnen für Frieden und gesellschaftliche Verantwortung (FIfF e.V.) > The full programme
---FIfF is an association of people who critically examine the impacts of digitalisation and the use of computer science and information technology in society. In our work, we also reflect on the consequences of these developments and recognise that not all problems can be solved through technology alone. The FIfF aims to ensure that information technology and digitalisation serve the cause of a world worth living in.
