We travel through the city centre in a convoy of 3 to 4 specially illuminated boats.Experience Berlin on an environmentally friendly boat tour on emission-free solar catamarans and glide silently along the Spree through the capital. The solar boats combine the exclusive ambience of a yacht with environmental friendliness. Relax and let Berlin's highlights pass you by.

The tour starts directly at the Oberbaum Bridge at the harbour of Solarwaterworld AG in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. During the approximately 2.5-hour tour, we will pass all of the city's sights that can be seen from the water and treat you to drinks and snacks. We will pass under the imposing Oberbaum Bridge, glide past the world-famous East Side Gallery and reach the historic harbour and Fischerinsel before arriving at one of the highlights of the trip: passing through the Mühlendamm lock.

The next leg of the journey takes the solar ships further west down the Spree. Here you can see the world-famous cultural heritage site Museum Island and Berlin's government district with the Reichstag and the Federal Chancellery. Not much further on, Berlin's architectural showpiece, the main railway station, comes into view. The catamaran continues westwards to the House of World Cultures, or as Berliners say, ‘the pregnant oyster,’ where the ships turn around and sail back to the Solarwaterworld harbour.

Please note: There are no city commentary on this tour. There is no guarantee that the objects illuminated as part of the Festival of Lights will be visible from the water! We are our own little Festival of Lights on the water!
