Berlin's cultural diversity is also reflected in its jazz scene. For over ten years, the Musical Instrument Museum of the State Institute for Music Research has provided a venue for Berlin's many ensembles in the field of modern jazz. The series "Jazz at the MIM" takes place in cooperation with the Berlin Composers' Association and is financially supported by the Cultural Administration of the Berlin Senate. The programming is in the hands of musician and composer Hannes Zerbe.
