The Detect Ensemble is known for its experimental concerts that blend contemporary music, classical music, and jazz. Now it joins forces with Acid Pauli, an internationally acclaimed figure in electronic music culture. The DJ and producer processes the ensemble’s instrumental sounds live through his modular system. Together, they explore the intersections between acoustic and electronic music through improvisation and composition. O/Y is a contemporary approach to the synthesis of minimal, dub, electronica, ambient & downtempo synonymous for impulsive grooves ensnared by deep pads and lighthearted melodies.
