Without Impairment: Why are things from all over the world in Berlin? Tandem tour in simple language

On the tour the new exhibitions are presented. There you can see many things from Asia, West Africa, Australia and islands in the Pacific. For example, masks, jewelry, vases or boats. The tour tells how the things were made and used.

It is talked about who the things belonged to and how they came to Berlin. Also about what the things mean today for the people from Asia, West Africa, Australia or the Pacific Islands. A lot of time is taken for the questions of the guests.

The tours in simple language are aimed at people with little knowledge of German or learning difficulties.

Meeting place & time

The meeting point for guided tours and the location for workshops are stated on the booking confirmation. In order for the guided tour to begin on time, the organizer asks that you arrive at the Humboldt Forum 15 minutes before the program begins. Please take this extra quarter of an hour into account when planning your visit. Thank you very much!

- The regular price per ticket is 9,00 €. Reduced tickets cost 4,50€.
- Eligible for a reduced ticket are: Pupils, students, volunteers, trainees up to the age of 30, severely disabled persons (at least GdB 50), recipients of ALG I benefits, persons receiving transfer payments (ALG II, social assistance, basic security, berlinpass holders or benefits under the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act), honorary card holders.
- Accompanying persons of severely disabled persons (with note B) receive the free card.
