Afterward, you are cordially invited to a small reception and to visit the exhibition on the first floor of the German Resistance Memorial Center.
The exhibition will be on view from September 24, 2026, through April 4, 2027, in the special exhibition area on the first floor of the German Resistance Memorial Center. We will also be offering guided tours led by the curators:

Tuesday, November 17, 2026, 4:00 p.m.

By participating in these events, you agree that the photos and video footage taken there may be used for Öpublic relations purposes (including websites, social media, and print materials).
Despite the risk of death, malnutrition, and constant surveillance, resistance was still possible even in concentration camps. However, given the extreme conditions in the concentration camps, the forms of resistance differed from those outside the camps. Resistance often manifested itself in everyday acts of self-assertion, such as maintaining religious rituals or engaging in shared cultural activities.
Despite the threat of severe punishment, some women dared to sabotage forced labor in the arms industry, refuse orders, or smuggle documents out of the camp to bear witness to the crimes of the SS.
This exhibition focuses on the life stories and acts of resistance of sixteen women imprisoned at the Ravensbrück concentration camp who used their individual scope for action to oppose the Nazi regime.Translated with DeepL
